Roam Delta 8 THC Seltzer – Case of 24 Cans

Up for review today are some D8 seltzers from Roam (D-Squared Worldwide). They are 20mg each and come in three different flavors, though I've only tried two of them. They have a D9 version as well that is 12mg per can.

Packaging - These come in a four pack (or a case) and are in traditional sized seltzer cans. The label tells you the flavor, has all the nutritional facts and warnings you would expect, and there's a QR code for labs.

Labs - The QR code currently takes me to a dead link, but I found labs hosted on the FAQ of their website. The labs are potency only from Labstat and show between 13mg and 15mg of D8 depending on the flavor, all of which are under the advertised amount of 20mg. My cans still felt plenty strong effects wise to me though so maybe the labs undersell it, or maybe it's just the nano D8 these are made with hitting harder than regular D8.

Flavor - I like a seltzer as much as the next guy, but I always find myself wishing I was just drinking soda or something sweeter instead and of course I would if not for the health benefits of seltzer. These seltzers seem to fall in that sweet spot between soda and regular no sugar seltzers for me though and I have to say, they are absolutely delicious. These aren't calorie or sugar free, though they do come in under 100 calories per can and don't have as much sugar as a soda would. The upside to this of course is that they are full of flavor. They are made with cane sugar and real juice as well which I love. The blood orange one is has a natural and slightly tart orange flavor to it and is just sweet enough without being overpowering. The Buddha's lemon tree is just what you would expect, nice and tart and again just sweet enough. I wish I could buy these without the cannabis, as I'd drink them regularly just as a seltzer on its own.

Effects - My tolerance is to the point where my normal dose of D8 in edible form is around 50mg so I didn't expect 20mg to affect me too much, I expected to feel sort of relaxed and maybe a mild buzz. Since these use nano D8 that is water soluble the effects hit a little quicker than a normal edible and I was feeling it within about 30 minutes or so. My predictions for how it would affect me were mostly correct, though it was slightly stronger than I had thought it might be. For the most part it was just calming and relaxing, gave me a nice mood boost, and helped me focus. I got a mild euphoric buzz from it as well. It was great for a weeknight when I wanted to relax without getting blitzed. Please keep in mind that 20mg can be a lot if you don't have a tolerance built up, so start slow and maybe begin with half a can if you are new. If it was a weekend and I wanted the effects to be stronger I would probably drink two or possibly three of these, but for just relaxing on a weeknight one was perfect.

Conclusion - There are plenty of ways to get a dose of D8 out there these days and though they aren't always the most potent, especially if your tolerance is high, I have been enjoying the different seltzers and drinks on the market as the effects tend to hit quickly and strongly due to the water soluble nano THC and also, they're just fun. These seltzers have a fantastic flavor, some of the best I've had in a while. The labs show less than 20mg per can, but anecdotally the effects were slightly stronger than I anticipated and one can was just right for a relaxing evening at home.
